Last Saturda...Hmmm, I have had the same struggles. Last Saturday night, mid-sleep, I made my mind up to stay home. After all, I haven't been sleeping well. I came up with a list of reasons for just wanting to seclude.

I slept sporadically, but as dawn came I heard the Lord say that He desired for me to come. He said it would be good and that He wanted me to come. I might of grumbled, but I forced myself out of bed. I too thought'I have nothing to wear'...but then the closet exposed my lie.

I went. It was on worship. It was about the enemy of our souls trying to keep us from worshiping in Spirit and in Truth. And it spoke to my aching soul. It encouraged me and for the moment the need to slip into solitude fled.

Will I struggle again? Sure as day comes. Will I go? The answer is yes, most days, but especially if I hear the Lord say, "Come."

Praying for you now.

Kimmie
mama to 8
one homemade and 7 adoptedKimmiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04462108880167593207noreply@blogger.com
