snow days...

We got our first real snow since Ellie has been with us. There wasn't enough to sled in (bummer), and it was really too cold to stay out for very long (about 12 degrees, I think). But we HAD to go out for a little while at least. Here are a couple pics of me and the kids. Jeff, unfortunately was inside with a nasty case of shingles (bigger bummer than the amount of snow we got!)

Thank you for your encouraging words. We actually had our visit, thankfully. I think it went well, but it is really hard to know. They said we should have the final copy in 3 weeks or so.... I just hope that is the case because the dossier, and thus the referral can't go forward!

I love your snow day pics! We were going to go to the big Ethiopian get together at Queen of Sheba today but the home study got in the way....did you guys get to go? Tell Jeff I am sorry about the Shingles...I hear they are the worst, in pain and appearance.

WE NEED TO GET TOGETHER.

Looks like lots of fun! Bummer about Jeff and the shingles. I remember when Geron had them. It was only a small patch on his back, but he was extremely miserable. I hope Jeff is feeling better soon. In the meantime, we'll pray for his healing. I love you guys and miss you! This would have been even more fun to experience it with you and your kiddos and ours together!

I would say you could come up here to sled in ALL the snow we have... but we have no hills. :( What fun is snow without hills to sled down?!?!

Get well soon, Jeff. We'll be praying for you!

Love the snow pics. I know having snow days from school made Bryan happy!!! And, I believe my little "angel girl" is making snow angels.....

Looking at the adorable little girl making the snow angel and loving life makes me so angry that people would say the kinds of things about her that that man did. Ellie is a joy and I wish I could see her more often! I love you all!
